Here's all the pics from Monica and Jenna's trip to NYC and a little bit of Washington DC over Thanksgiving of 2002...
So the day we left, me and Monica skipped outta school like in the middle of first period...why we even bothered going i dont know but we got out and went to my house to get my stuff and then to hers to drop it off. Then we went to pick up her car that was being fixed and some other random things and then when her sister, Jennifer, and her friend, Jordan got out we all went to McDonalds with her mom because she couldnt come with us, muy sad :( so then...we were on our way!! Only about 10 hours later here we are in the streets of NYC!!
So the first day we got up early to go to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade...here are some singers that were all doing this kool accapella thing on the siewalk infront of the McDonalds where we got...hamburgers? for breakfast and waited in a very long bathroom line...well for the women at least, OMG they started using the mens!! thats desperate right there!!
And the parade begins...

Here's Ashanti again...she had some kinda nice outfit on with that long fur coat and OMG she had a MATCHING PURSE!! **gasp** so me and monica yelled at her and we were all like "ASHANTI!!!!!!!" and she looked at us and were like "WE LIKE YOUR PURSE!!!!!!!" she was like "whaaaa??" it was funny...

and here we are bright and early at times square for the early show with Al Roker and we all tried to get on TV but idk if we did or not...then one of my signs fell into the part u cant walk in and it was muy windy and it was all like that neon pink one so we had toget a stage hand to get it and we all made a scene....

next we went to to the Empire State Building and waited in very long line to get on the elevator to go up like 80 floors just so that we could wait in another line to go like 5 floors and is was REEEEALLY hot and we had on SOO many layers cuz it was all freezing outside but monica, you know her, had to take some off so here she is strippin behind her dad's coat in the empire state building...it did entertain everybody in the line though for awhile after the other brawl when this big black lady started yellin at a group of people cuz they had a handicapped person and they tried to use them to get like 50 people to the front of the line...she wuz about to bust a cap man!!
and in the line there was this nice NY landscape....we were compelled to take a picture with it

This is our 05 at the Statue of Liberty (the real one) .......its there, really but its all too dark to see really....theree wer a bunch of krater boys atund there and Monica started screamin that "Skater Boy" song at me but then we thought we might get jumped...so we stopped...
so last in our very jam-packed day we went to THE macy's!! we only had like an hour and we had to find the juinors which was like 6 FLOORS up an dwe couldnt fing it cuz we thought we wer on the right level cuz we walked all around what was a normal-sized department store should be, but then we discovered a WHOLE OTHER SECTION!! it was huge!! we bought stuff for people for chistmas and like jetted cuz we had to cover alllll that area in like an hour AND navigate that place!!

In the midst of looking for our hotel, we kinda came across the white house, which we WERE gonna get a free tour of cuz their uncle works in it, but it was being decorated for christmas as you can see so we couldnt go in

(OOooOOhhHH i love this part!!) So we FINALLY found the hotel and got our rooms. These rooms, however, werent quite the 2 doubles and a bathroom basic room like we had in NY, oh, it was TWO suites!! I thought we all were gonna share one which woulda been fins seeing as how it was HUGE and had like 2 rooms and all but nope, me and Monica got one ALL TO OURSELVES!! then her dad, Jennifer, and Jordan got the other!! Our first order of business, though-go to the hot tub and pool!!
This was so hott...yeah we had a JACUZZI in our extremely large bathroom too!! So you know we just HAD to use it!!
So we took showers and stuff and they had this really cool like bix boxy hairdryer in the room but u cant see it well because Monica took the oicture very incompeently and failed to get a picture of what we wanted....
Now, you know we had to get room service to top it all off!! (Monica will kill me for puttin that up of her...ahhh!!)
This is our very extremely large king size bed we had that we layed around on til like 2am watching our very extensive cable!! It was a night to die for!! haha yay!!
After leaving the funness hotel, we went to the Lincolon memorial and washington monument before headin home
Ah, back to the snapple as were leaving the DC mall and a resturant that we ate with some of their other relatives for home!! Only about 10 hours, a WHOOOLE lot of sleep, and $17 of KFC that me and Monica ate, were back in tha boro!! It, too, as muy muchos fun!!
